The Summarit-M 75mm f/2.4 is a compact and lightweight tele lens ideal for shooting portraits and candid shots. Its a double Gauss lens with 6 elements in 4 groups. Out of these 6 elements 4 are made of special glass type with anomalous partial dispersion and 2 of them have high refractive power. The lens has 6bit coding for data transmission between lens and digital M camera body. This allows the camera to identify lens in use and apply vignetting correction at final stage of image processing.
