The AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G has a wide f/stop of f/4 and stops down to f/5.6 for its longest focal length of 300mm. At the lowest end the lens can stop down to f/32. This F mount Nikkor lens is compatible with both FX and DX format Nikon DSLRs. It is also possible to shoot in DX crop in a FX format camera.
This D type lens is designed so that it can provide a precise distance related details for adjusting the flash and or any other light sources for precise exposures.
