The PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED lens has been designed to be a architectural and landscape photographer’s best friend. This lens features both tilt-shift and rotational capability which is perfect for such needs. The  is a ultra-wide Perspective Control lens which has a revolving capacity of roundabout 90 degrees in increments of 30 degrees for brilliant tilt-shit effects. It also has a wide shifting range of about 11.5mm along with a tilting range of about 8.5 degrees.

Nikon has provided 3 aspherical lens elements (AS) in this lens to ensure there is no spherical aberration even when shots are taken out in the open, at widest angle and broad day light. The presence of both Nano Crystal Coating (N) and Super Integrated Coating (SIC) ensures lens flares, ghosting and color fringing is eliminated.

There are 3 ED elements (Extra-low Dispersion) in the lens which takes care of color correction and increasing the saturation for a sharper picture. The maximum angle of view is 61° in DX format and that of 84° in FX format DSLR cameras.

The diaphragm of the lens is built of 9 rounded blades. The minimum aperture is f/3.5 and it can stop down to f/32. The minimum focusing distance of the lens is 0.7’ or 0.21 meter. It takes a filter of 77mm. this lens has only manual focusing capabilities. The overall weight of the lens is 730 grams.
