This is a 60mm (35mm equivalent) macro lens for Micro Four Thirds System. Since the focal length is close to that of a normal lens there is little to no distortion of image. Moreover due to its unique optical design it can yield extremely sharp image with lots of detail. The lens is made up of 9 elements in 9 groups. The MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer compensates for undesired camera shake. As a Macro lens it can be used for copy purpose, close up photography, portrait as well as landscape. The fast F2.8 aperture helps to create smooth bokeh.
