The Sony DT 11–18mm F4.5–5.6 lens extends the reach of ultra wide angle performance. The 16.5-27mm (35mm equivalent) focal length is great for panoramas, landscapes, architecture, and photos with dominating foreground. The incorporated aspherical lens elements effectively eliminates chromatic aberration in order to maintain undistorted image quality. The lens is made up of 15 elements in 12 groups. A 7 blade circular diaphragm ensures smooth defocused background.
