The construction of the EF 200mm f/2.8 L II USM lens consists of 9 elements including two UD (Ultra-Low Dispersion) glass elements and is arranged in 7 groups. The lens features Canon’s USM (Ultra-Sound Motor) technology which basically means the lens is quiet when focusing, making it ideal for a nature & wild life photographer. Additionally the presence of Rear focusing elements means the lens never extends when focusing making it discreet.
