Canon EOS M Firmware Update Version 2.0.2 now available for download. According to canon it will boost the AF capability of the current EOS M up to 2.3 X times. Definitely good news for current EOS M owner.
Firmware Version 2.0.2 incorporates the following fixes and improvements.
- Improves focusing speed in One-Shot AF mode.
- Now supports EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM*†.
- Corrects errors in the Simplified Chinese, Hungarian, Traditional Chinese and Korean language menus.
* When placing the EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM without conducting the firmware update, although rare, at times the EOS M will not function.
