Key features
- Apodisation filter delivers more creative portraits
- Film-like effects with the Film Simulation function
- High build quality and comfortable operation
The FUJINON XF56mmF1.2 R APD is an autofocus lens for digital cameras with APS-C size sensors and provides a focal length equivalent to 85mm*1. The lens has a maximum aperture of F1.2 making it the world’s brightest autofocus lens for digital cameras with an APS-C sensor. In addition, the new apodising filter makes it the perfect choice for portraiture, with every strand of hair visible and a unique bokeh effect.
This lens is highly portable. When attached to an X Series camera body, it weighs about half*2 as much as a single-lens reflex camera with a lens of the same focal length and F value, plus it’s quick to use thanks to the high-speed, quiet autofocus.
It produces not only beautiful bokeh part, but also maintain the sharpness with accurate focusing even in a shallow depth-of -field. This is a huge advantage of Mirrorless system over SLR thanks to focusing on image sensor itself rather than on separate PD sensor. The shutter on X Series bodies is equally quiet, so it’s easy to capture more natural shots of subjects.
Apodisation filter delivers more creative portraits
- The XF56mm F1.2 R APD offers brilliant levels of sharpness even when shooting with the aperture at F1.2. In addition, the apodisation filter smoothes the bokeh’s outlines. This combination of image sharpness and beautiful bokeh delivers portraits with a three-dimensional feel.
- An optical construction of 11 glass elements in eight groups, including one aspherical glass moulded lens element and two extra low dispersion lens elements has been used. Spherical aberrations are corrected by the aspherical glass element to deliver high resolution at the maximum aperture setting. Additionally, thanks to the combination of two extra-low dispersion lens elements and three cemented lens elements, chromatic aberrations are greatly reduced.
- By applying Fujifilm’s unique HT-EBC (High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating) to all lens surfaces, ghosting and flare are controlled for sharp, clear results.
- The lens also makes the most of Fujifilm’s unique X-Trans™ CMOS low pass filter-less sensor for extremely high image quality. Ghosting and flare are controlled even under harsh conditions such as backlighting.
- By combining this lens with an X Series camera body*5 with Lens Modulation Optimizer*4 (LMO) technology, the performance from the lens is improved even further. LMO corrects for diffraction*6 to produce images with edge-to-edge sharpness and create a realistic three-dimensional effect, even at small apertures.

Key features
- Covering a wide shooting range
- Fast autofocus
- Advanced 5.0-stop image stabilization
- Dust-proof, weather resistant structure
The new XF18-135mm lens is suited to a variety of scene types and subject matters as it covers frequently used angles of view. These include wide-angle shooting, often used for landscapes and architecture with an excellent sense of perspective (27mm equivalent); a normal angle of view that naturally captures the image as it is (35mm, 40mm, 50mm equivalent); and telephoto, which allows you to zoom right in to capture portraits and sports scenes (85mm, 135mm, 200mm equivalent) with its 7.5x zoom.
To achieve high descriptive performance with sharpness and rich contrast from the wide-angle to the telephoto, high-performance glass including 4 aspherical glass lenses and 2 ED glass lenses has been used. Multi-layer HT-EBC, which has high permeability (99.8%) and low reflectance (0.2%), is applied to the entire lens to effectively reduce lens flare and ghosting, which often occur in backlight conditions. Utilising the wide zoom range of the lens, there is more freedom in composition and selecting angles.
* 35mm format equivalent
The XF18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR uses an inner focusing mechanism for rapid autofocus speeds. This was engineered by making the focus lens lighter and installing a linear motor. When this lens is combined with an X-series camera body which is compatible with phase detection AF, smooth photography is offered with faster AF.

Merge to HDR and Panorama
Combine your photos to produce panoramas and HDR images in ACR. The merged result is a DNG file and is saved to disk alongside the input images. If you are merging raw files, then the merge is performed using raw image data and the resulting DNG is just as much a raw file as the originals (and retains all the editing flexibility that comes with shooting raw). Because of this, you no longer need to edit your photos before merging. To see the new Merge feature in action, check out these videos.

Nikon 1 SB-N7 Speedlight
Release Date : 24 October 2012
Price : $ 156.95
Order Now : Adorama | B&H | Amazon
Key features
- Portable flash unit
- i-TTL compatible
- Wide-Flash Adapter For Widening The Angle Of Coverage
The Nikon 1 SB-N7 Speedlight brings Nikon’s renowned Creative Lighting System to your Nikon 1 V1 or V2. Find new inspiration with exciting lighting techniques that go beyond simple illumination. Tilt the flash for unique bounce effects, use the built-in wide panel for expanded shooting coverage, brighten backlit subjects and more all from a remarkable shooting distance.
With a guide number of 18m/59ft (ISO 100 20°/68°), the Nikon 1 SB-N7 Speedlight delivers significant lighting power in a small package. Use it as a fill flash to highlight the subtle details of well-lit subjects, even from a distance, or power through a heavily backlit situation with ease. And of course, more illumination power means more low-light shooting capability.
An external flash lets you aim light where you want it, which may not be directly onto your subject. Experienced shooters often bounce their flash off the ceiling above them or a wall behind them for an attractive softening effect. The Nikon 1 SB-N7 Speedlight’s flash head tilts 120° so you can direct the light exactly where you want it straight ahead, up, behind you and everywhere in-between. Use the built-in wide panel to uniformly spread the flash for great wide-angle images.
Designed for the Nikon 1 V1 and V2, the Nikon 1 SB-N7 Speedlight maintains the camera’s compact, well-balanced feel. It mounts right on the hot shoe and is powered by readily available AAA batteries. It’s such a convenient accessory, you’ll bring it along for every shooting adventure.

Nikon 1 LD-1000 LED Movie Light
Release Date : 5 September 2013
Price : $ 96.95
Order Now : Adorama | B&H | Amazon
Key features
- Portable continuous light source
- Soft light optimized for photography and movie recording at a close distance
- Compatible with any camera equipped with a tripod socket
- Simple single-button operation
- Angle adjustment bracket
The LD-1000 can be operated separately from the camera, making off-camera lighting possible. This allows you to illuminate from any angle, height or distance you like, regardless of the position of the camera. This flexibility helps you expand the range of your creative expressions.
Continuous light from the LD-1000 allows you to check lighting effects in real time and find the best composition. Moreover, continuous light from the LD-1000 can be used for additional lighting for recording movies at a close distance.
The LED window is equipped with a diffusion panel and is optimized for still photography and movie recording at a close distance. Despite using multiple LEDs, the LD-1000 provides soft, smooth lighting with natural-looking shadow. The diffusion panel prevents the reflection of luminescent spots, which usually appears when an LED light source is directed onto a shiny object, such as a glass.
More advanced photography is easy with the LD-1000. Photography using multiple lights usually requires a certain amount of expertise to control lighting effects, but with the LD-1000, even a beginner can achieve excellent results. Simply use multiple LD-1000s to achieve your intended results by checking lighting effects in real time and adjusting lighting as need be.
The included bracket allows horizontal angle adjustment even when the LD-1000 is attached to a camera. The bracket is attached to the tripod socket and so can be used with any Nikon 1 or COOLPIX camera which doesn’t have accessory shoe. The single button on the back of the LD-1000 turns the light on and off and is also used to adjust high and low light strength.

Nikon 1 SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight
Release Date : 14 May 2014
Price : $ 746.95
Order Now : Adorama | B&H | Amazon
Key features
- Waterproof to 100 m
- Underwater TTL and manual flash control and a built-in Targeting Lamp
- Designed to match Nikon 1 waterproof cases and AW1
Underwater photography is one of the most exciting—and challenging—ways to use your Nikon 1. The cameras’ outstanding autofocus system and 1 NIKKOR lenses help you capture sharp views of fast-moving underwater subjects, but to really bring home the vibrancy and colors of your underwater adventures, you need an external flash. Introducing the SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight, a powerful underwater Speedlight flash for all underwater Nikon 1 possibilities. Waterproof down to 328 feet and with a guide number of 28/92 (m/ft, ISO 100), it can illuminate even the deepest waters.
The SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight is waterproof all the way down to 328 feet—far below the reach of natural light—and powerful enough to illuminate subjects at those serious depths (guide number of approximately 28/92 [m/ft, ISO 100]). Whether you’re snorkeling over a shallow reef or diving the depths of a canyon, capture beautiful, colorful underwater scenes that wouldn’t be possible without a flash.
The SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight works with every underwater Nikon 1 solution—J1 or J2 with the WP-N1 Waterproof Housing, J3 or S1 with WP-N2 Waterproof Housing, J4 or S2 with WP-N3 Waterproof Housing or the fully waterproof AW1. It easily mounts on the optional SK-N10A Underwater Bracket and SC-N10A Underwater Fiber-Optic Cable (add the SR-N10A Underwater Fiber-Optic Cable Adapter for use with the AW1), and it works with the AW1’s pop-up flash for additional lighting power in deep water.
Take control of the flash strength and fine tune it for your shot. Easily select the auto TTL mode for use with the AW1, WP-N3, WP-N2, or WP-N1 or use one of the two manual flash modes when using the SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight with the Nikon 1 AW1 or WP-N3. The Targeting Lamp shows where the flash will be directed and helps your Nikon 1 autofocus on subjects in shadow before the flash fires. Add the Wide-Flash adapter to increase illumination coverage to 120°.
Included accessories
the SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight comes with key accessories for precise flash control underwater. A SW-N10A Wide-Flash Adapter enables broad flash coverage.
**The WP-03000 is an O-ring that is used to protect the watertight integrity of the battery compartment of the SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight.
**The WP-G1000 Silicon Grease is for use with the WP-N1 Waterproof Housing. The WP-G1000 is used to keep the O-Ring from drying out.
WP-G1000 Silicon Grease
**The SW-N10A Flash Adapter increases the illumination that the SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight provides to 120° vertically and horizontally when attached to the Speedlight.
Optional accessories
The Speedlight attaches securely to a compatible Nikon Waterproof Case using the optional SK-N10A Underwater Bracket. To attach the Speedlight to the Nikon 1 AW1 camera body, you need to use the bracket and the SC-N10A Underwater Fibre-Optic Cable, plus the SR-N10A Underwater fibre cable adapter.
SR-N10A Underwater Fibre Cable Adapter
Waterproof fibre cable adapter. This adapter lets you use the SC-N10A underwater fibre-optic cable and the SK-N10A Underwater Bracket together with the Nikon 1 AW1 camera and the SB-N10 Speedlight.
SK-N10A Underwater Bracket
This sturdy underwater bracket lets you attach the SB-N10 Speedlight to a Nikon 1 waterproof case. It can also be used to attach the Speedlight to the Nikon 1 AW1 camera, via the SC-N10A Underwater Fibre-Optic Cable and the SR-N10A Underwater Fibre Cable Adapter.
SC-N10A Underwater Fibre-Optic Cable
Waterproof fibre-optic cable for use with specific Nikon 1 cameras and the SB-N10 Speedlight. Enables the camera’s built-in flash to fire the SB-N10 Speedlight for stronger lighting in murky underwater environments (when shooting with the camera inside a Nikon 1 waterproof case).

Key features
- Portable flash unit
- Compatible with Nikon D-SLRs and COOLPIX cameras
- i-TTL compatible
- Thermal cut out function
- AAA size batteries
- Firmware is updatable via the camera body
The right lighting can transform an everyday shot into an extraordinary memory. Even if your camera has a pop-up flash, an external Speedlight provides capabilities and control that every shooter can appreciate—so much more than simply illuminating a dimly lit scene. The compact, lightweight SB-300 AF Speedlight makes it easier than ever to harness the power of a Nikon Speedlight. With its simple operation, excellent performance and approachable price tag, the SB-300 AF Speedlight belongs in the camera bag of every D-SLR or accessory-shoe equipped COOLPIX owner. Take control of the lighting around you.
With the SB-300 AF Speedlight, you’ll enjoy a flash that’s soft and balanced for excellent color, skin tones and lighting throughout your entire composition—not just on your main subject. Use it in bright situations to fill in unwanted shadows (fill-flash), or use its 120° tilt capability to bounce your flash off the ceiling or a nearby wall for even softer, less direct lighting on your subject (bounce technique).
Nikon’s i-TTL (intelligent Through-The-Lens) flash coverage technology tailors the characteristic of the flash to the shot. An imperceptible pre-flash fires milliseconds before the main flash to gather information about the scene—shadow areas, subject distance and reflectance. Your i-TTL capable camera and the SB-300 AF Speedlight then work together to achieve the best exposure and white balance setting possible, all in a fraction of a second.

Key features
- i-TTL Speedlight
- Built-in LED light for video recording
- Portable
As you master your camera, you begin to look at lighting in an entirely new way. No longer is proper exposure your only goal—now you can use shadows and brightness to add a sense of depth, an artistic characteristic to your photos and HD videos. A first for Nikon Speedlights, the SB-500 AF Speedlight is a compact, lightweight i-TTL Speedlight and LED video light that gives you total control of the light around you. Whether you’re looking for extra illumination during HD video recording, a wireless off-camera flash to use along with your camera’s built-in commander mode, another Nikon Speedlight like the SB-700 or SB-910 or the SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander or just an advanced and versatile—yet simple to use—Nikon Speedlight, the SB-500 AF Speedlight is a bright idea.
The SB-500 AF Speedlight has simple controls—just a few buttons —and it operates on two AA batteries; yet, it offers the performance of an advanced Speedlight. Its powerful and has wide coverage with a guide number of 24/78.7 (ISO 100, m/ft) with 24mm coverage in FX-format and 16mm coverage in DX-format. Its head rotates 180° left and right and tilts 90° upward allowing you to bounce light off nearby surfaces to soften the light and shadows, creating more flattering portraits. If your camera has a Commander Mode, it can even be used wirelessly off-camera along with your camera’s built-in flash for greater illumination power from interesting angles.
The SB-500 AF Speedlight is also a versatile video light especially well suited for recording interviews up close. It has a built-in high-intensity LED light (approx. 100 lux) that provides steady, uniform daylight-balanced illumination. It can be used at three output levels—quarter, half or full power—making it practical for low-light video shooting and close up still photography. And when used with the D810 or D750, the SB-500 AF Speedlight communicates LED color information (along with that of the flash) to the camera for optimal white balance.
