Leica Summicron-M 35mm f2 ASPH Lens is a compact yet powerful lens that can deliver extraordinary image quality. The performance of this lens is unsurpassed when effective aperture is F4. At this point it can capture almost distortion free image, which is perfect for architecture photography. The lens is made up of 7 elements in 5 groups.

The lens has 6bit coding for data transmission between lens and digital M camera body. This allows the camera to identify lens in use and apply vignetting correction at final stage of image processing.
